Hello,

My name is Sophie Bowe, a current Mechanical Engineering Intern for Research and Development at Walt Disney Imagineering. I obtained my EIT in California in July 2023, after graduating with an MSE in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics in May 2023 - where I pursued a focus in Design and Manufacturing. Before that, I also obtained my BSE in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics and a minor in mathematics in May 2022 from the University of Pennsylvania.

I have been fascinated with engineering since a young age – but then I only knew it as magic. My goal is to be able to integrate my strong modeling and machining skills with my background in design to create a seamless blend between cutting edge engineering and creativity.
