1920’s Bathroom Remodel
My childhood home is a 1920s kit home that was remodeled in the late 80s. Over quarantine I decided I was tired of looking at our last unfinished bathroom.
Tasks Included:
Tearing out the 9” drop drywall ceiling and restoring the original plaster ceilings
Removing fiberglass tub and wall tile, and replacing with shower pan and subway tile
Rerouting plumbing and electrical: including removing tub faucet, replacing vent fan, and moving existing plumbing, venting, and electrical
Replacing and repairing drywall
Refinishing existing vanity and replacing faucets and handles
Replacing stud framing
Ripping out old flooring and restoring original hardwoods, filling gaps with porcelain tile
