1920’s Bathroom Remodel

My childhood home is a 1920s kit home that was remodeled in the late 80s. Over quarantine I decided I was tired of looking at our last unfinished bathroom.

Tasks Included:

  • Tearing out the 9” drop drywall ceiling and restoring the original plaster ceilings

  • Removing fiberglass tub and wall tile, and replacing with shower pan and subway tile

  • Rerouting plumbing and electrical: including removing tub faucet, replacing vent fan, and moving existing plumbing, venting, and electrical

  • Replacing and repairing drywall

  • Refinishing existing vanity and replacing faucets and handles

  • Replacing stud framing

  • Ripping out old flooring and restoring original hardwoods, filling gaps with porcelain tile
